This is a poem for my first born son
I held in my arms a moment ago
A peaceful babe who moved me
From the inside out
First a curved bare head
Now a red flowing mane
Wearing your strength well
First toddling steps across the floor
Now long strides chase the world
Your stature is tall and lean
First the faithful heart at my door
Now the gentle leader of spirit
Finding the way on your own
This is for you, my first born son
Held in the arms of time
Fifteen for a moment
Moving the world
From the inside out
Immersed in the Mystery,
