Into chapter one of Creative License and I am realizing that this in not a sit down and read through book. This book demands activity, action … Creativity! This is want I want and what I need. I predict this book will be with me every day for the next 2 1/2 months that I work on the challenge and more after that, I am sure.
My challenge to myself is not to let a challenge force me to speed through a book that needs time to soak in while at the same time, I need to maintain the motivation and momentum so that it doesn’t just end up back in the stack.
I did take the time to create yesterday. It is late November and there are still a few leaves clinging to the branches and the skies are so blue. My favorite time of year. I long to spread out on the grass, look up at the sky and breathe in the crisp, clean air. It is a season of purging, letting the old die away to make room for the new.
