This is so timely for me. I’m just about to pick up a pencil and start drawing again after 25 years. I’m a bit scared of what I am going to find there … I think it will be very therapeutic indeed, but sometimes therapy uncovers some ghouls …
This, however, is much more amazing and wonderful! Isn’t he beautifull
He is beautiful and he inspires me! The conventional thought process is that we much choose our direction in our youth and stay on course. Nothing new is attempted; nothing new is learned; nothing new is accomplished. But time and time again, people prove that is not TRUE and research shows that to ward off diseases of the mind, we must expose ourselves to new things.
Enter the therapy of art! Expand yourself! I am right there, shaking in my boots, with you. But it is time to jump off the cliff, don’t you think? We might just discover we have wings and can soar with the best of them.
For those who may be visiting me for the first time or for those who have forgotten, this is a reminder that A Life Profound is one of two blogs that I have. I also keep an art blog.
There's a feed in this sidebar so you can always check if there is new content or you can subscribe to my rss feed over there. Mostly, that blog is for posting my art journal pages and any projects I have done. I also post creatively inspirational quotes, articles and videos there. The content is definitely different than here though occasionally there is some overlap.
Come visit me there and leave me a note!

Very cool. And my first ballet teacher laughed at me because I was 22! Good for him!
